Artist Dayna Thacker is interested in the extreme interconnection of everything that exists in our world. From the very large to the infinitely small, she believes that everything ties together in a balanced system of existence. Her exploration of these relationships is evident in her collage project, entitled Theories of Everything.
Using elements of geometry, symmetry, and repetition, Thacker creates a visual language featuring simple and elegant compositions that are layered together with hand-cut lines and shapes. In each piece, the colors and textures blend together in balanced and intertwined landscapes.

Más conocida como Laurielle entre sus seguidores, Alicia nació en una roca en medio del mar llamada Tenerife y unos años después emigró a Barcelona, donde estudió en la Escola Joso. Actualmente se encarga de ilustrar las tiras de El Vosque, recientemente autopublicado y ganador del Premio Expocómic al mejor cómic online en 2011. Cuando no está dibujando, lee cómics, se obsesiona con los videojuegos o dibuja un poco más.
¿Cuándo empezaste a mostrar interés por el dibujo?
¡Uy! De muy, muy pequeña. No sabría señalarte un momento exacto en el tiempo, pero recuerdo que con cuatro años mi pobre padre me intentaba dibujar animales para que los pintara y me ofendía porque los conejos parecían cerditos, así que intentaba hacerlo yo. Y en quinto de primaria ya vendía dibujos por cinco pesetas, que para mí eran un fortunón, porque con cada dibujo podía comprarme un chicle. Así que… supongo que ha sido una constante en mi vida.
